Located between Stuttgart and Lausanne, Nina Flaitz and Marius Rother work on visual communication and concept-based art direction to make information and content tangible and accessible. In a collaborative working process characterised by holistic concept development and intensive knowledge exchange, they develop bespoke design approaches for all communicative and visual issues in close cooperation with their clients.
The development of identity-creating appearances is a central task for them. Whether in digital or printed applications, Nina and Marius always place great value on detailed and balanced products that visually and tactilely meet the demands of their clients and their addressees.
In their work with clients, they draw on self-initiated research and craft projects. Marius penchant for technically high-quality printed products led him to set up his own silk screen workshop in 2018. This is where he gets the space to deepen his knowledge of printing techniques and materials. Nina is the founder of the research platform Mycelium Resources, through which she applies her expertise as a designer to projects of a sustainable ambition and conducts research into environmentally friendly print applications. She teaches editorial design at Bauhaus University Weimar.
